About the Role

As an Australian-trained Accountant, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting Australian clients with financial reporting, compliance and accounting functions. This position is ideal for experienced professionals who value growth and international exposure.​

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2 to 5 years of accounting experience
  • Background in Australian accounting (preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail

  • Prepare and input tax returns, BAS and financials​
  • Set up companies and trusts with compliance requirements​
  • Liaise with clients and ATO to resolve queries​
  • Manage team workflow and update systems​
  • Assist with invoicing and special projects​
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field​
  • CPA certification preferred​
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably with Australian clients​
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, MYOB, XPM)​
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills​

What is your hiring process?
Our process includes:​
  • Application: Complete the application form on the VBP careers site. If qualified, we’ll schedule a video intro. Expect feedback in 1–3 business days.​
  • TA Interview: Held via MS Teams. Install the app and ensure a stable connection. Casual attire is fine, just stay professional. We use Topgrading interviews to assess fit and growth potential.​
  • Exam: Role-based assessments to gauge analytical, tech and communication skills.​
  • Final Interview: A deeper dive with the hiring manager.​
  • Reference Check: We verify past performance and conduct a background check.​
  • Job Offer: We’ll discuss employment details, compensation and benefits.​
  • Pre-Onboarding: Submit required documents and complete a medical exam.​
  • Onboarding: Orientation with our L&D team to help you settle in and succeed.​
What are your pre-employment requirements?​

Submit your updated NBI Clearance and photocopies of key documents: Transcript of Records, SSS, PhilHealth, PAG-IBIG and TIN. Include COE, Marriage Certificate and loan certificates if applicable. Fresh grads should start registering early. We’ll assist with TIN processing once hired.​
