TASA Compliance
An Australian-Trained Accountant (ATA) provides support in the interpretation and presentation of financial data and reports. They also perform various administrative and accounting tasks, including processing transactions and maintaining profiles. ATAs support tax compliance through the preparation of Individual Tax Returns (ITRs), Company Tax Returns (CTRs) and other ATO-related tasks.
VBP ATAs offer support across three core areas: Accounting Tasks (reconciliation, journal entries, payroll finalisation, annual reporting and quarterly management reporting); Administrative Tasks (email correspondence, client profile maintenance, document management, ASIC correspondence and lodgements, and statutory document creation); and Tax Returns (preparation of individual, business, and fringe benefit tax returns, and support with ATO compliance activities).
Our ATAs are certified in Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping (from an Australian RTO), Tax modules from an Australian RTO, Xero Adviser Certification and Xero Payroll Certification.

No. VBP is not a registered Tax Agent, BAS Agent, or qualified tax relevant provider.
While the Code has limited application to offshore team members, there is one event - conviction for an offence involving fraud or dishonesty - that could classify an offshore entity as disqualified. This is determined by reference to community standards and does not appear limited to Australian jurisdiction.
VBP conducts thorough sanction screening of executives and accounting personnel to ensure alignment with the Tax Agent Services Act 2009 (TASA). However, ultimate responsibility for TASA compliance rests with the client.
VBP uses a phased task roadmap, starting with low-risk, templated, day-to-day tasks. As quality and trust are established, you can assign additional clients and more complex workloads to your ATA over time.
VBP ATAs undergo structured training, operate with close oversight and follow clearly defined workflows. Focus areas include attention to detail, responsiveness and alignment with Australian compliance standards.
