Building a high-performing offshore team requires more than assigning work across locations. It relies on clear communication, shared accountability and operating rhythms that enable teams to perform consistently together.
This session explores the practical foundations of successful cross-border collaboration, drawing on real operational experience supporting Australian advice firms. Delegates will gain insights into how effective delivery models, communication practices and team structures contribute to stronger outcomes for both firms and their offshore teams.
Attendees will leave with practical ideas they can apply to strengthen collaboration, improve team performance and build more effective offshore partnerships.

As advice businesses evolve, so do their marketing, communication and brand requirements. Many firms have ambitious ideas but limited internal capability or capacity to bring them to life.
This session introduces the VBP Design Studio: a new creative and marketing capability within VBP that is designed to provide practical, flexible support across brand, digital, content and communications.
We’ll walk through how the Design Studio works, the types of projects it can support, and how firms are already using creative services to strengthen client engagement, attract new business and build more professional, consistent brands.
This will be an open discussion with plenty of opportunity for questions, idea sharing and exploration of how the Design Studio could support your firm’s plans.
Speaker: Carolyn Selanova-Pagayon, Deputy Manager- AZ NGA (VBP)
For many firm leaders, understanding how work is delivered behind the scenes is just as important as the outcomes themselves.
This session provides a practical look at the day-to-day operations of an offshore team, exploring how work is planned, managed and delivered while maintaining quality, efficiency and strong communication. Delegates will gain greater visibility into the people, processes and responsibilities that support consistent service delivery.
The discussion aims to build a deeper understanding of how effective team structures contribute to long-term success and stronger working relationships.
Speaker: Victoria Dupuche (Netwealth)
