Team Welfare and Operations

  • The welfare of 100% of VBP team members was confirmed within 24 hours, with only five minor injuries reported. Our medical team has provided follow-up care and support.
  • VBP’s systems maintained 100% operational effectiveness, including cybersecurity, throughout the event.
  • By 1 October, 99% of our people were back to work, supported with equipment, wellbeing assistance and safe facilities where required.

Looking Ahead

Phivolcs (Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology) has reported hundreds of aftershocks since the initial earthquake; VBP remains in business continuity mode as a precaution. We will continue to monitor operations closely and stay in direct contact with clients where needed.

We are deeply grateful for the many messages of support received. Above all, we remain committed to the wellbeing of our people and to the continuity and security of the services we deliver.

Our thoughts are with everyone in Cebu and the wider Visayas community impacted by this event.
