Vital Business Partners (VBP) has announced a minority equity stake in Ensombl, a digital platform connecting financial advisers across Australia. This move reflects VBP’s ongoing commitment to supporting adviser growth, professionalism, and operational efficiency.
Ensombl, co-founded in 2014, provides a vibrant online community where advisers can share insights, network, and access professional development. With over 9,000 users, the platform has become a central hub for advisers at all stages of their careers.
VBP CEO Nathan Jacobsen said the investment strengthens the alignment between the two organisations.
“We want to see advice businesses grow and become more efficient so they can help more people. VBP’s outsourcing and business growth solutions expand adviser capability and capacity, and Ensombl supports advisers to grow personally and professionally while driving practice efficiencies.”
Ensombl CEO Clayton Daniel added that the partnership will further develop professional development tools and empower advisers to deliver client-centric advice in an evolving licensee landscape.
The partnership comes as Ensombl develops a new CPD app, designed to streamline participation in online education, track engagement, and reduce the administrative burden of live CPD events. This innovation ensures advisers can focus on learning and growing their practices rather than paperwork.
Earlier this year, Ensombl partnered with Iress to deliver targeted content helping advisers upskill in technology, while VBP launched The Growth Alliance, a coaching solution for advisers and business owners seeking scalable practice growth.
This minority stake signals VBP’s commitment to investing in tools and communities that elevate the financial advice profession. By combining outsourcing solutions, coaching, and digital communities, advisers are empowered to scale their businesses, increase efficiency, and focus on what truly matters: delivering exceptional client outcomes.
